Father Duffy statue and the red stairs

People from New York City and surrounding areas plan to join Every Second Counts CPR for an amazing event you won’t want to miss. The “Everyone Can Help Save a Life with Two Hands” event will kick off National Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness month in Times Square at the Red Stairs located at Father Duffy Square, 7th Ave W 47th St., in the heart of midtown Manhattan. The event will take place on Sunday, October 1st between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

Times Square is considered the “crossroads of the world”— and the heart of New York—with 300,000 visitors every day. Where else could you reach so many people to help spread Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) awareness to help save lives? Come out and join us and many other heart advocates including the Sudden Cardiac Arrest FoundationThe Peyton Walker Foundation, and the Louis J. Acompora Memorial Foundation along with SCA survivors and advocates who just want to help save lives. “If we all work together as ONE,” said survivor Ed Kosiec, “we will see survival statistics improve and more lives will be saved.”

Join us! Everyone is invited and has a voice. Be part of something bigger and get involved in the movement to educate the public about CPR and how everyone can save a life.
