Lucy Phillips has joined the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation and will serve as Program Administrator of the Cardiac Arrest Survivor Alliance. With 10 years of healthcare experience, she has cultivated a unique skill set that merges healthcare expertise with a deep understanding of patient needs. Lucy’s passion lies in advancing accessible healthcare and wellness initiatives, making impactful contributions to research and patient care. 

Her journey includes pivotal roles such as serving as Research Assistant for the Pre-Determine Research Study at Brigham and Women’s Hospital for five years, where she played an essential part in a large-scale cardiovascular study focused on sudden cardiac arrest. During her tenure there, she witnessed firsthand the massive impact cardiac arrest has on survivors and families.

Holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communications and a Post-Baccalaureate certificate in Pre-Medical Studies, she combines her academic background with Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Training to support patients managing stress and enhance emotional well-being. Lucy recently completed a global fellowship centered on using art as a catalyst for positive social change and supporting dialogue around mental health.
